Kelsie Newbrough, M.A.


Kelsie Newbrough received a Bachelor or Arts in Christian Counseling from Calvary Theological  Seminary and a Master of Arts in Clinical Christian Counseling from Cornerstone University.   She is a Licensed Pastoral Counselor. She is certified in Temperament Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling and Grief Therapy.

Kelsie is a Clinical member of the National Christian Counselors Association and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. As a  member of Kenosha First Assembly in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Kelsie takes yearly missions trips to Thailand, where she works with young women and widows.  She has made many friends and maintains close contact with these women in Thailand.

With her husband Jerry, Kelsie leads a Divorce Care Group at her church. She is also a member of the advisory board of the Salvation Army in Waukegan, Illinois. She is a member of the Assistance in Healthcare, a group that provides assistance for individuals struggling with chronic health issues.

Kelsie and Jerry have been married for 47 years and have spent many years mentoring and counseling young couples. They find great joy in providing premarital counseling and encouraging couples to start off married life with a positive and healthy relationship.

The Newbroughs have three children and four beautiful grandchildren.
